What a Jip!
This DVD was one of the worst buys i have ever made. Believe me, i am a huge foos fan which makes this DVD all the more dissapointing. First of all, it shouldn't be called foo fighters: guardian angels it should be called Dave Grohl: Guardian angel. This isn't a bad thing because Dave is the heart of the band but if you've read the foo fighters, nirvana and other misadventures book you won't find out anything new here. most of the DVD is people talking about the band which was unfortunately boring.
As the DVD is unofficial it features no foos music either, and its made so cheap that the company only got rights to one song which isnt foos and is played throughout the main feature.
Special features include a quiz which isn't great and a discography which is o.k, theres an option in the special features which says 'more foo fighters' which takes you to a page that advertises a website for more information which i thought was a p**s-take.
Overall very dissapointing, not worth the money i payed for it and i dont think i'll be watching it again soon.
Foo Fighters - kidding
Really disappointed with this DVD. Expected some indepth interviews and loads of music and got nothing other than a shaky, cheap camera action and the same non-Foos track played over and over. Got half way through and gave up. This is the first time that I haven't even given a DVD a chance by watching it all the way through at least once. One for the trash.
Not In Their Honor!
I too am a real Foo Fan, but this was just too big a disappointment to let go without warning others of this DVD. The other reviewers are spot on. 99.9% of the content is just some guys you've never heard of, talking about the history of the Foo's (which is already in print in much more detail)
This is just a cheap attempt to cash in on the Foo Fighter's name by producing a DVD with no real worth or interest.
I thought about selling my copy on a well known on-line auction site - but In Their Honor- I threw it in the trash.
