Synopsis
Tae Bo creator Billy Blanks crafts another revolutionary approach to fitness with an exercise program based on the principles of military basic training. BILLY'S BOOTCAMP series blends high-energy aerobics with intensive strength training to burn fat, tone muscles, boost metabolism, increase energy, promote weight loss, and condition the entire body. Designed for all fitness levels, the innovative routines use specially designed resistance bands to enhance physical movements for maximum benefit and noticeable results in as little as seven days. This volume offers the most challenging workout of Billy's new series with cardio, abdominal, and upper- and lower-body exercises.

Brilliant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I never thought Billy could pick up the ante... This is it..those bands add an aspect that really makes this the ultimate... I have been doing this for 6weeks now and the difference it has made is amazing..... it works, but not without sheer effort, and loads of sweat...I am a huge Taebo fan and have loads of the collections.. I also own this whole set.. The cardio is not that well put together, but alternate the ultimate with basic and the abs, and you are working.... strength, stamina, endurance, I have them all. If you like Billy, and love Taebo, then you will LURVEEEEEEEEEEE these!
Best of the best
There is no better personal trainer than Billy Blank in my opinion. Just when you think that he is peaked (Everybody get Ripped is stupendous), he manages to raise the bar again.
Be warned, only do this if you are moderately fit because it is hard. Usually he has a mix of fit and out of shape people on his DVDs but on this one, only the fit and toned ones are present. That tells you how hard it is.
I can run 5 miles, I work out in the gym and I am generally fit. The workout with the Billy Bands nearly killed me and I could not complete all the sets! Billy takes no prisoners with this workout.
If you want to be fit and toned, this is the DVD to get. It is awesome.
Good and tough but where's the cardio disc????
This is a good set for anyone that is already reasonably in shape. If you are a first timer, this is too hard and you may lose confidence. I am a mountain guide and use this set for training during the off season and when the weather is rough. The bands add an extra quality that you don't get in many other products. Beware, the suggested programme includes "Basic", "Ab", "Ultimate" and "Cardio" sessions but my set only included 3 discs, the missing one being "Cardio". I have played all the others numerous times and can't see this session hidden away anywhere, so can only assume that you have to buy it seperately which is a bit of a cheek given the high initial price of the set. My solution is to go hill running on the days it suggests "Cardio" but that may not be an option for you, so bear this in mind. All in all though this set gives a good, tough workout for the whole body.
