Customer Reviews

Storming5
In grime's short time as a raw new genre it has been pidgenholed as a mere offshot of the cheesy garage sounds of the late 90s, with degenerate however, Vex'd have proved that grime, dubstep or sublow, depending on your pursuasion can have its own edge and not merely tiptoe around existing styles. Degenerate displays the league that Vex'd hold above other artists, and just how greatly they supercede the stylistic copycatting of other producers, being met closely only by other artists such as Toasty.
Degenerate is certainly not for the faint hearted, although if you are looking for coarse energy and seething, twisted bass then its definetely worth more than a look in.

Enjoy

Unmissable5
Taking the vibe right out into the unknown... like a broken beat-dubstep hybrid, all hemorrhaging riddim convulsions and sledgehammer bass attack that sounds like the next level of everything. Make no mistake this is gonna be unmissable. Vex'd are the Great White Hope for electronica and "Degenerate" is gonna change the landscape. With trace-elements of early "Aphex Twin" circa the R&S EPs (back when he really was making Melodies from Mars), the abrasive-yet-spiritual intensity of "Pan Sonic" in full-flight, the sheer monolithic grind of "Suicide" at their most incisive, all wrapped-up in production levels of the highest order... it'll probably be the album of the year. Gutterbreakz.
