Manufacturer's Description
This is the most playable scrolling platform game ever. Imagine Super Mario - with better graphics; imagine Sonic the Hedgehog - with more puzzles. Now imagine combining those together and you'll have some idea how much fun it is to play JAMES POND II Codename: ROBOCOD.

Your mission is to stop the evil doctor's plans of total world domination; your only chance lies in the capable fins of the aquatic super hero, James Pond. Our finned hero jumps, climbs, squashes, squishes and stretches through level after level of some of the best cartoon-style graphics ever seen. As you battle your way ever deeper into this bizarre world you'll encounter Bouncing Teddy Bears, Crazy Cadillacs, Whirling Dervishes, Chocolate Mountains and don't forget those wacky end of level baddies - and a cute, totally addictive background soundtrack you'll be whistling for ever.

Even better than the original!!5
Just got this for Christmas, and it's fantastic!

If you ever played the original Megadrive version you're sure to remember just how much fun this game is!

The graphics are really good, with wacky bad guys and varied backgrounds. I don't recall there being an autosave on the original game, but thankfully the DS version can be saved after each level. This is a good thing because the game is huge!

Whilst I've not played that far into it yet, the game hasn't aged at all, and is easily as fun now as it was 12 years back.

If you like your platformers, then I highly reccommend this game!

A good game4
I used to love the mega drive version so bought it for the DS. Its quite good, not as good as the mega drive in my opinion, but worth playing.

I got a bit bored at times as there were a few bits that took me quite a few attempts to get through. But its good as you can save after each level.

The graphics are ok, and the general gameplay is ok. If you were a fan of the old James Pond then its worth a go. If you didnt ever play the old one then Im not sure really what you'd make of it.

Overal Im glad I got it and played it

not as good as the amiga version3
I owned this game originally on the Amiga and whilst this version plays exactly the same. It lacks the colourfulness of the Amiga version.
