Customer Reviews

A good Follow up...4
Their self intitled album was a really really good pop punk/emo album. and for the previous review writter had "Last song" on it.

They came back and wrote this album, which is really very good, more athematic with songs like "Move Along" and "It Ends Tonight" and shows a draker side to them with "Can't take it" (My pesronal favorite).

A really good comeback from a really really good band.

What can I say...5
Having a broad knowledge on music and an interest in all types of music...I stopped listening to punk rock/rock long ago when I found dance music influencing my choice in record buying habits. I first heard this band in my mates car and I didn't take it in until he played "The Last Song" (notably not on this album) and "Dance Inside". Just listening to these two amazing tracks influenced me enough to buy this album. What can I say, this band are original and have really brought a spark back into punk rock when, personally, it started to get sour once Greenday went all commercial. (damn them!)
The album kicks off with "Dirty Little Secret" a nice bouncy tune to kick off this album. The rest of the songs roughly follow the same suit as this. Listening to the album reminded me of the music from the American Pie movies...I might be mistaken but Im pretty sure they must have used one of these songs in one of those movies!
Overall this is a fantastic album...and Im not even fully interested in punk rock! This band definately need to be heard to be believed.

well, well5
This album was certainly pleasurable, having cool guitar solo's and, as always, great vocals from Tyson Ritter. The lyrics were good eg:

Back me down from backing up
Hold your breath now it's stacking up
Etched with marks, but I can deal
And you're the problem and you can't feel
Try this on, straitjacket feeling
so maybe I won't be alone
Take back now, my life you're stealing

And many more attention-grabbing verses, which was important to me as I find that lyrics are very important in a song.
The tunes were also catchy and some different, like Top of The World's classical guitar introduction.

Every song was good, but some more so than others. I liked Move Along, Change your Mind ( although the lyrics were quite cheesy i loved the tune, which was a huge step for me! ), I'm Waiting Stab my back and Top of the World.
If you are wondering why Dirty Little secret is not on my list it is because I have overplayed it and learned to love other songs.

I would tell anyone to buy this record, I enjoyed it thoroughly because it has such a mix of songs on it.

Songs for when your about to go to sleep: It Ends Tonight, Straitjacket feeling, eyelash wishes,

Songs for when you wake Up: Top of The World,11:11 pm, I'm Waiting, Night Drive

Songs for hanging Out : ALL OF THEM!

And songs for when your crying: Move Along, Stab my Back, Change your mind, It ends Tonight.

whatever you do.. just buy the damn cd!

These guys are absolutely AMAZINGLY & FANTASTICALLY BRILLIANT LIVE!

i mean wow, Tyson Ritter is a great performer!
