Gentle Giant Deliver the Goods
I'm already a huge Gentle Giant fan, but had put off buying 'The Missing Piece,' because of the preconception that it was the first bad Gentle Giant Album.
When I heard Some songs from it on their incredible 'GG at the GG,' DVD I loved them and decided this simply couldn't be a bad album.
As it turns out not only is it a good album; its pretty much a great album, possibly better than its predecessor 'Interview.'
The Best Songs Here are defiantly the powerful 'For Nobody,' and the haunting 'Memories of Old Days,' but the whole album is of high quality; with great vocals, funky drumming and great musicianship all around.
As prog albums go its a great one, but perhaps not as Progressive as you may expect; as Accessible albums by prog bands go its first class. If you like Gentle Giant don't be put off, get the missing piece of your Gentle Giant Collection right now!
