Album Description
Multi-platinum recording artist Lil' Kim possesses a presence and persona that looms well beyond her tiny frame. From her days as the feisty front woman of the Brooklyn rap collective, Junior M.A.F.I.A.- playing the Bonnie to the Notorious B.I.G.'s Clyde to her current status as hip-hop's Grammy-winning, fashion-forward Queen Bee, Kim continues to effortlessly captivate, seduce, provoke, and entertain. Whether she is ripping it live onstage, working it on the runway, or turning heads on the red carpet, Kim makes you look and listen! Kim is back with a vengeance with her fourth studio album taking her back to the days of Hard Core. Her highly anticipated and controversial release promises to be an event.

Customer Reviews

Not Kims best . 1
This has to be Lil Kims worst offering so far . The album relies too much on the " Shock " of bad language , and too many annoying skits . It's getting old hat now . Apart from " Lighters up " , the rest of the album is instantly forgetable . Save your money and buy " The Notorious Kim " , or " Hardcore " .

5 Mic Classic5
Let's get one thing clear, this album is Lil' Kim's best ever and it got 5 mics in the source magazine...
What more can I say, if you listen to it well enough you will appreciate the fact that she is lyrically tight and she is trying to bring back East Coast hip-hop.

I think that this album is nicely layered, vivid and she does a good job at proving her growing skill talent as a female MC.

She is the 1st female in hip-hop to get a 5 mic classic from the legendary Source magazine and you should all respect, if not then go listen to crap hip-hop like 50 Cent who is turning hip-hop to r&b

- Peace

Please stay in JAIL....1
Why this Elton John wannabe is still making music astounds me. Lil Kim does a good job from the outset by not keeping things real. Look at the cover of this album. Does this look like a black female? No! She looks like a male Michael Jackson (Yes i said male) The songs on this album lack the fire and originality of her 1st two albums (Hardcore & Notorious KIM) and stay in the zone of her last album which was dreadful. Singing about Chanel and Louis Vuitton Shoes/Clothes is not what Lil Kim and rap fans want to hear. She constantly goes on about "haters and snitches" and how she is "repping for the hood" What hood what that be Kim? The hood where you purchased your new teeth and chest? Or perhaps the hood where you purchased your lovely skin tone? The album has an unimpressive roster of guest spots (Majority of unknown ghetto thugs who are probably on the DL) The best track on this album is Spell Check but you can download this on iTunes. Do not waste your money on this fluff. Lil Kims pockets do not need lining any more. She is after all in Jail. What she gonna do with the cash? Buy a Gucci jumpsuit?
