Customer Reviews
made me laugh out loud
Eric Idle (of Monty Python fame) is excellent in the role of the lovable crook. The scenes in the nunnery are some of the most hilarious I've ever seen in a movie. I can only recommend it. Just a pity that there were no bonuses on this DVD.
vintage oldie
i loved this film growing and its extra special as you hardly ever see it on tv any more, it's good fun and great pace...though i wonder how ill perceive it watching it nowadays. for as little as 3 pounds its got to be worth it
Daylight Robbery
This is a funny film and Robbie Coltrane is a master of timing with his co-accused Eric Idle of Monty Python fame. Good gritty stuff when they take on the Chinese Tongs to relieve them of their protection money and the scenes in the convent are hilarious with an alcoholic betting nun and a mother superior who is edgy and witty. Some great shower scenes with smooth ladies who would make you want to take up the oath!
