Just a very, very good pop album
If you can be can be open minded about this it's simply an excellent power-pop album. There's oodles of Beach Boys and The Raspberries in it which can never be a bad thing for any band . Ultraviolet wouldn't be out of place on a Foo Fighter's album. There's elements of Teenage Fanclub, Dodgy and Feeder which doesn't however mean it's a mish-mash of other bands , just that McFly can quite easily hold their own in that company. The songs are quirky and clever and frequently go off in unexpected directions. Give it a try, you will be pleasantly surprised.

this album is great! i have to say im super impressed with the "she falls asleep" song(s) quite a moving song...i think that i have listened to this album so much, that you could play me a slit second of any song, and i would know all the words to which song it is!
