Brilliant, almost 3D performance
Just hooked up the set to Sky+, and the performance is exquisite.
Scenes look truly 3 dimensional in places.
Can't wait to try it with a true HD source!

couple of (minor) gripes - I can't get to grips with the Ambilight feature. Also the screen is very unforgiving on a low quality signal - but feed it a decent high quality, high bit-rate stream from DVD or Sky (preferably in native) and watch it shine.

Excellent bit of kit...
I have one of these mounted on my wall at home. I must say that I'm impressed with the picture and very happy with the build quality.

One thing, it was a little expensive, and by the time HD has fully bloomed, there are many screens which do the same for less money. So perhaps not the best value, but it is the best screen I've seen around.

One note, although the screen can show 1080p, it can only accept 1080i signals input. I don't know if this will be resolved with a firmware update? You can put firmware updates downloaded from the Philips site onto a USB key from your PC and plug it into the screen to perform an update using the remote controller.
