What makes WWE SmackDown vs. RAW 2006 such fantastic fun to play is its total accessibility. While everyone may not care for the Buried Alive match or Fulfill Your Fantasy, they can always retreat to GM Mode or defend one of their titles instead. If those options still don't tickletheir fancy, they can always just make someone with the excellent create-a-character feature, or drop into an impromptu Season, or simply engage in an old favorite like Hell in a Cell. What's more is that the gameplay has made another noticeable step forward with its strong stamina and momentum systems and the adjustments to the rest of the gameplay are just as effective. And while I'll be the first to admit that the series could still work on its list of recurring problems, there's no other wrestling game since No Mercy that offers this much replay, value, or depth. Kudos to Yuke's and THQ for a job well done.

WWE Smackdown Vs Raw 2006 PSP
This game has so many good points and pretty much only one or two bad points. First the good points brilliant graphics for a hand held console pretty much equal to the PS2, ALL the features of the PS2 game plus a couple of others (the other features are RUBBISH though will get to that in a moment), Great SFX, Great Season mode (2 years this year instead of just one), New match types are fantastic like buried alive is so fun to play as well as the all new bar room brawl match which is also really fun to play. It almost amazes me how much great features are now on a handheld BUT one feature which pulls no sorry DRAGS the whole entire game down for the PSP are the insanely pull your hair out LONG load times and I have to stress the load times are almost unbearable. It takes a good 2-3 mins to get from the part where you have selected your superstars and pressed play match to actually playing the match and this is with the entrances skipped. The Create modes are also dragged down so far because of this because it can literally take you over an hour to create a superstar because it has to load between changes. the season mode is great but again load times make it too long to wait. Now the new features which i had mentioned earlier on are 100% pointless and not fun, the new feature is 3 new mini games listed under arcade mode in the main menu these are an ultra weird texas hold em poker game which you play using WWE superstars as the players this game is 100% pointless and not fun. The next mini game is a eugene aeroplane race in which you have to keep eugenes balance as he is running like an aeroplane down to the ring again 100% pointless and not fun and lastly a WWE trivia game which is once again 100% pointless and not fun.
SO....
Overall a fantastic game which is let down in parts by unbearable load times. I cannot drag the game down lower by saying the mini games are rubbish because these were an added in feature which were not included on the PS2 version.
Graphics 9 - WOW. Almost identicle to the PS2
Sound 8 - Great SFX and licenced soundtrack
Gameplay 9 - Fantastic gameplay which is really fun when you do eventually get playing the match!

smackdown vs raw is smackin and cooked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
smackdown vs raw! is absolutely brilliant for wrestling fans!!!! you get to be a general manager so if your role model is theodor long then you mite be able to do better than him?

you get to create a superstar but even better you get to create an entrance for them which is absolutely awsome. and you still get to customise their moves. plus putting them into tag teams.

you get to play for titles in exhibition fights but even better you get to make a title then you can defend and choose your champion! aswell as playing all the usual titles!

there are new matches which include buried alive matches, fufill your fantasy(better than bra and panties),elimination chamber plus many more.

the seasons are much much better. when you are on raw you get to go the whole season with some little catches and when on smackdown expect the same. the storylines are much much better than 2006 which includes the undertaker and the urn!!!

another new feature is the locker room which you can customise completely, it is fab. you also can keep track with your wins by lookin at your match card plus new challenges to do. you also win trophies which is absolutely awsome!!

wat else is there welll there.... millions of stuff, buying legends and stuff downloading on to the psp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

a must for any wrestling fans!!
