Love it!
I always seem to find myself on the PC or XBOX playing shoot em up games(which are supposed to be close range) sniping the enemy.
If you are the same or you like tactical games then this game is definately one to buy.

Sniper Elite can be played many ways. You can hide away and be sniper-like, you can run in guns blazing, you can do both. Any method comes with many challenges.
The enemy has snipers who have the same skills as you, Highly trained officers and your average soldier(who normally insists on running at you guns blazing!).

Its not as simple as some games where the AI Characters are confined to a specific area. These guys run at you, Hunt you down and snipe from long distance as soon as they have spotted you and are pretty good at it, especially if you are looking down your scope as you cannot see any other surroundings.

The reason for 4 stars and not 5 --- The levels are not great graphics-wise. If you liked medal of honour and similar games with very square edges with little additional detail then this is pretty much the same.
The actual levels are pretty big and spacious with some good, realistic sniping spots for both you and the enemy. I found that the levels were big enough for me to give most of my concentration to observing my surroundings.
The game is as challenging as you make it. Have it on easy and snipe by the book then you will get through but take the run in approach and be hunted down is still equally as fun only with a lower success rate.

Weapons - Sniper rifles, rocks, grenades, stick grenades, anti-tank weapons, silenced pistol, and rifles of all sorts. Collect ammo and weapons from dead enemy aswell as health and dogtags.

Co-op mode adds just more fun. No way can you say this is easier as in some ways it makes things harder having to revive your partner in the hot zone is pretty interesting at times. Tactics are still pretty important and good teamwork can make things go very smoothly.

I totally love this game. I love to take on the sniper role and this game gives you more than that. Fantastic game!

What a great game!!!
This is a great shoot em up game that also requires you to take your time in the great environments that the game offers. You mainly rely on seeing the enemy before they clock you and using your sniper rifle to take them out over some great distances. There are many other weapons you can use but only really in a "crikey i did not see him on top of me scenario!!!". And there really is nothing more satisfying than sniping a head shot at over 100m (you also get to watch the bullet fly through the air and hit your target in the head!!!).
I am a big fan of the Tom Clancy games and this is great too. A little easier than the TC games but very very very good. If i could give this six stars out of five i would. It also cost me only £7.49 new and i would of paid £30 for this game and still be very happy!

What more can i say this is a fantastic game, although the graphics are ok but not all that great, all in all it is a good solid game. It takes on an other level when played online get this game its a must for anyone's collection john...........
