Sultry Soul
Lets face it, this album is predominantly a "Lurv" album with the emphasis well and truly on sentimentality and romance . Will is carving a love heart on the bark of a tree "Will Loves You Forever". Indeed he sounds like he does.
Unadulterated romance is here in abundance, the tempo smooth and sensuous. With ballads such as Crazy Love", & "What's it Gonna Be" Will delivers that intoxicating emotion with a passionate zeal that should make any lady melt into your engaging arms. There is also a posthumous, timely and rather poignant version of one of Luther's greatest covers "Superstar". A fitting tribute to Mr. Vandross.
The tempo does increase slightly on a few of the tracks - the opener "Put Me On" borrowing a beat or two from the current R&B flava's, but wearing a soulful suit all of it's own. One of the stand out tracks on the album and a great mood direction and indication of what lies in store.
"Soul Steppin'" also see's the tempo increase slightly with more of the R&B sets cooler flava's.
Only nine tracks on offer here , but that leaves you wanting more rather than needing less and if you need any re-assurance of that , just listen to the final track "Heart of Mine"-pure class!

this guy is a true soul legend, people realise what i am talking about, go out and get this album ,you lovers , husbands, wifes, boyfriends etc, just to name a couple , superstar and the last track heart of mine , good album well recommended.
