Very pleased with my 7" Daewoo DVD player
I bought this to view DVDs of my year old grandson. Within minutes of opening the box we were watching Rowan on an excellent screen. The system is so easy to set up (including the remote control) that I rarely had to refer to the handbook.
I then played a DVD of Mozart 2 piano concerto. The picture was excellent and the sound what you'd expect from small, but good quality speakers, and the piano part reproduced perfectly.
I then attached it to my powerful Celestion speakers (easy to do)
and the sound matched or was even better than my usual (quite expensive) Rotel CD player.
Tried a CD which was reproduced with similar success. (All within 1 hour of opening the box)
Haven't connected to a TV. I don't see the point as the system was bought for it's portability. But it seemed easy to do.
Charged the battery and it played through a 2hr DVD with power left. I have left all the controls at default - they fulfil every expectation - so why fiddle?
I count this Daewoo as one of my best buys EVER

excellent purchase
I bought the dvd player just over a month ago and what an excellent buy...It has the capabilities that far exceed my sony dvd player that was far more expensive...The picture quality is also excellent and far exceeds my expectations. My whole family use this and on a recent trip to Lanzarote, we took this along - it was invaluable especially for my kids (the 9mth old child especially)..I was able to get some "peace" whilst they watched and listened to music videos...why pay more for excellent quality and performance...(it also came in 2 days, free post and packaging and the abilty to track each stage of the order. Well done to amazon in this respect.

its good..
the 7 inch screen is just about watchable and the sound is better than my 10'2 shinco portable dvd player.this unit however does not have a monitor feature (as advertised)which means i cannot link it to a free view or vhs player, so u have been warned.otherwise its a good piece of hardware for the price.
