Greatest Hits I Think Not!
This is a very poor excuse for a greatest hits! They seem to have just put the songs that made it to No.1 and left out other efforts, for instance 'Nasty Girl'. As one of the biggest female acts they should have left with a bang, all the songs, all the vids. What's with the tiny collection of DVD music videos? Come On Get is sorted! This should be a 2cd deluxe deal here!

Featuring 3 new tracks, this CD will take you through the Destinys Child rise to super stardom. If you are a Destinys Child fan, then this collection is a must have because of the unreleased tracks and DVD disc of music videos. Featuring hits from the debut album right through to the Destiny Fufilled record.

Destiny Fulfilled.
I'm sure if you asked these three ladies whether they would become one of the most successful female groups of all time they would say that could only dream. Destiny's Child has been one of the most important and reliable R&B groups of our generation. It seems that every ten years you get a female R&B group that change the face of R&B. DC's predecessors clearly being TLC. However, DC will make for a hard act to follow.
It is very hard to get a best of album to earn five stars as the songs often had more impact a the time of their release and the fifth star comes as stripe to illustrate that the group/artist survived the test of time. This album charts DC's success well and is a nostalgic trip through their career and I believe gives a healthy reminder as to how consistent and successful they have been. I agree with another review I read that really it isnt a number ones album but rather a collection of best work and a few new tracks in order to sufficiently promote the album. Curious that the more successful single off the album would be the solo Beyoncé-Swizz Beats project 'Check On It' which really speaks volumes about Beyoncé standing out from the group and establishing herself as the new yardstick for other female artists to be measured by.
This album should be a must collect for anyone who never bought a DC album but always enjoyed their singles, especially in an age where music downloading is probably favoured over buying singles and albums. Party must haves include: Independent women, Jumpin Jumpin, Lose my Breath, Say my Name and Bootylicious. Also their ballads such as Cater 2 U and Girl feature on the album as well. Good luck to the girls and thank you for many great songs. This album would make for a great stocking filler, present, or to complete your R&B collection.
