BEWARE!!1
This cable seems like a great deal, it's cheaper than the official xbox cable and comes with the optical surround sound line and gold plated connectors, nice. But beware unlike the official cable this Joytech one is not shielded.
This means that electric fields from other nearby electrical equiptment can effect the signal between your xbox and monitor or TV.
I bought this cable without checking this out and found when I was playing occasionally the screen would flash blank for about 1/2 a second. I took me about a month of trying many different things to work out what the problem was (my stereo was interfering with the signal). Now I have an official Xbox cable and it works great.
So please be aware when buying this cable that it may cause you problems, especially if used near other electrical equiptment.

Great cable5
I have this cable and I'm very happy with it. The picture is very sharp and I can see a lot more detail in the game graphics than even with a Component connection. This cable is well designed with a tough mesh over the wire to make it last against wear and tear. Not only is the cable cheaper then the official one. There is also an Optical cable included in the pack that the official cable does not provide, this would set me back if I wanted to purchase this as an extra.

Sorted out my HD problem5
I'm a videophile, guilty as charged yer honour. I recently bought a hyundai 32" hd ready lcd set with a native resolution of 1366x768. I rushed out to get the HD component cables. I practically ran home, eager to play PGR3 in sparkling new HD but I had issues. First up the the component cables give a very strong saturation, making dark areas in games look pitch black, PGR3 is most noticable , especially in the cockpit mode where you could not make out the dash, secondly, there were prominent jaggies which I have learned releate to both the xbox360 and the tv re-scaling the game resolution to fit the telly. Having read a bunch of techno-speak on various forums I discovered that the VGA cable can display 1366x768. Now, although you can set the xbox to this resolution (which is my TV's native) the games will still need to be upscaled as they are set for the most part at 720p - however, with the VGA cable set at my TV's native resolution, this upscaling is only done once , and that is handled by the Xbox360 which (apparently) has a better scaler than most Tv's. So, I bought this vga cable and boy am I impressed. Firstly the images are soooo much crisper, the jaggies in PGR3 have all but disappeared (a few are still present but this is a feature of the game, but I assure you they are vastly reduced). As far as washed out colours, I can understand why people wold say this, the contrast is certainly reduced, but I believe the VGA cable reflects more natural colours, like I said, I found the component cable way over-saturated. I can now see the dashboards in PGR3 in amazing detail and clarity w000t!!. If you really want the higher saturation, have a play with the TV settings! - Overall I am very impressed!! - disclaimer - these are MY experiences with the xbox360 and in no way am I stating that this is the case for anyone else due to the different technologies and tv's etc. Apologies if any of my techno - info is incorrect!
cheers.
