At last, a DS shooter!4
I have owned the US version of this title for some time now and have found it to be a thoroughly enjoyable game. It may not be in the same league as the original Gradius, R-type, or even the awesome Ikaruga, but this game is certainly good fun. Despite not making good use of the two screens by extending the play area (instead only the top screen is used for the main action), the visual style is quite impressive; sprites are clear and distinctive and the overall presentation is spot on. The action is frantic and controls are perfect.

It's a real shame that the UK release isn't going to be around for a few months yet, and many gamers will dismiss this title cos they've never heard of it! Don't be a fool; if you like your old school shooters, then this is the best available for the DS, so give it a try.

good for the first few days4
this is a great game,it mixes side scrolling shooting and 3d graphics very well.there are 10 adventure mode levels and lots of challenges to complete to unlock things like concept art and sounds.it is a very good game and worth its money,I definitely recommend it.
now for the few bad bits.it gets very repetative and the game modes are pretty hard, not to mention the challenges near impossible unless you have mastered the game several times over.the multiplayer is not very good,it is only good if you are playing another persons who has the game so they knoow what they are doing.
overall a good game worth at least its money,if not more.definitely recommend it

fantastic game - highly underrated5
A great shooter with nice graphics - lots of things to unlock and it doesn't get the credit it deserves.

A return to the shooters of old - the touchscreen is fairly basic as far as options go - you are using the buttons and top screen so no need for the stylus. However, this makes great use of the DS's power and this type of game suits a portable platform.

Great controls, nice sound and solid gameplay make this a must have.
