Ballad of a bulletproof poet
Excellent! Sounds vital & fresh. Slightly less dark than Vol. 1. Tyla's slide guitar makes an appearance. Not quite as brilliant as vol. 1, but still far outshines 99.9% of the dross around today. Buy it!

Re-living the Glory Days!
Tyla has recently chosen to re-visit the old Dogs classics in a 21st century Graveyard of Empty Bottles way. If you are reading this, it is fair to assume you will have at the very least heard of the Dogs D'Amour. Chances are, if you did come across the Dogs they were a major part of your up-bringing if you were into the late 80s Glam / Sleaze scene.
Vol 1 was great, albeit a very sparse arrangement of the tunes. This time Tyla has filled out the sound with a few well chosen lead guitar licks and long time cohort Henry Twinch adding piano. A mellow offering as if the 2 retrobates were actually playing the songs to you in a drunken haze at the end of a great night.
My only grumble is that I prefer the early stuff & the leanings here are largely post Errol Flynn. That said, in todays era for old Dogs fans, this is damn near essential
