One of two UK CD singles
A great track - expect this to go straight in to the UK chart at number 1.

The only difference between this CD single and the other one, is that this one contains one less mix. However neither of the two UK CD singles contain the full length version that you hear on the video. For that you will have by the 12" or wait for the album.

I'm not a huge Madonna fan, although I loved just like a prayer and the ray of light album, but I do admire her ability to change with the times. She always has her finger on the pulse and somehow manages to remain contemporary.

For me Hung Up is one of her best songs ever. It's infectous and once you hear it you just can't get it out of your head. Whilst the background track of gimmee gimmee gimmee is brilliant in its own right the song and the track are merged in a sublime way. Top dance track that would have made a perfect summer song. I hear the album is brilliant also. all in all madonna is back.

Madonna does Abba
This is a full on Madonna dance record, with a catchy pop melody. The lyrics are very simple but redeemed by the fact the song is pure dance.
The "gimme, gimme.." Abba sample is used well throughout the song although I quite like the parts without it because you can hear the hard disco beats and sounds.
I can't wait to dance to this in a club/ party because it will really get the house rocking. She needed to produce this after the indifferent reception to her last album and singles. Madonna is back and I am certain this will be a number 1 throughout the world.
