Funky, cool, chilled, brilliant
I'm not the biggest jazz fan by any stretch but I do enjoy high calibre music - and this comfortably fits the bill.
The finest moments have to be the 'oh so French' sounding "Belle" (Edith Piaf anyone?), the brilliantly dramatic and dark "L'amor Nunca Muere", the smooth "Enough" and the outrageously funky and stylish "Forgotten Places".
The rest of the album creates a wonderful ambiance and is not out of place as music to get ready to go out to or just as background music. It's a sin that such music doesn't get more exposure. Sheer brilliance and highly recommended, especially if you're looking for something a little different from the norm.
