a quality event
I found taboo tuesday 2004 to be a let down in parts and overall i wasnt that impressed,i found this taboo tuesday to be better than expected and i was generally impressed so i guess thats the way the cookie crumbles i guess.
This was the final taboo tuesday before it returned to its usual sunday slot and was renamed cyber sunday,the idea has remained the same where you get a wrestler and offer the viewing public the chance to vote for whom fights him/her and at times even the stipulation such as steel cage etc,its a worthy idea although predicatble at times.
The event opened with edge and chris masters going up against rey mysterio and matt hardy,but then edge said he wouldnt fight so gene snitsky replaced him and the mood was soured,however once the match got underway i found this to be a good match,both teams displaying instant clicking and performing very well,it was a good opener and thats what we all look for.
Another tag match featured next and featured eugene and jimmy superfly vs tyson tomko,(he is spoilt in TNA isnt he?) and rob conway.This match didnt have much going for it bar seeing jimmy superfly returning for a night but it wasnt the worst,yes there was messing about but i can honestly say i was entertained and again how can i belittle that.
Mankind returned for a night also to fight carlito next and this was a good,savage enough,entertaining bout with mr.socko returning and causing some laughs,the match itself wasnt really a laughing matter and i enjoyed it.
The first title(s) of the night were defended next as the tag team champions cade and murdoch went up against kane and the big show.Some have called this a squash match but it wasnt really,it was at times an evenly balanced contest although there were moments of sheer domination that didnt come as a shock of course.I found this to be another match that kept me entertained and that is a word i am using alot in this review.
A streetfight was up next that ranks as one of the worst ever but yet in saying that i found it ok,it didnt last 5 minutes,it featured the coach,who had vader and goldust in his corner against batista.The match didnt have alot of talking points and it didnt leave the ring that much but there was some good touches and a few comical moments,vader shouldnt have been there as he wasnt fit for this but it was ok,i know that sounds like a contradiction but i was happy enough.
The womans championship was next and was fought in a battle royal enviroment,i aint gonna say anything else.
The intercontiental championship was up next as the holder,ric flair,went up against his former best friend triple H in a steel cage.This match was excellent,as bloody as a steak cooked for 1 minute and packed with great moves and energy that defied flairs age at this juncture,i really couldnt fault this match,a real classic in my opinion.
The main event was next and was a triple threat match for the WWE championship,it featured john cena,the champ,going up against shawn michaels and kurt angle.This match was superb in many ways,least of all that all three men had great moments and were giving their all,finishing moves were all over the place,great feats of strength and intensity and a real desire to win,it was just a great match.
I am very happy to give this event four stars so check it out,collector or not,you need this.

Taboo Tuesday 2005 (Best WWE pay per view ever)
I recantly watched WWE taboo tuesday for about the 100th time. I still can't help liking the Jimmy Snuka and Eugene VS Rob Conway and Tyson Tomko. I reckon this is because the Superfly is my favourite WWE legend. I also am quite a large fan of Rob conway so for me this was a very interesting match up. The one match that I did not enjoy was the match which had rey mysterio in it. However I did not let this cloud my vision.

Tabbo Madness
Maters & Snitsky vs Hardy & Mysterio 7/10
Finally a Raw vs Smackdown match. Matt and Rey proved a good tag team and probaly would be good as Tag Team Champions in the near future.

eugene & Superfly vs Tomko & Conway 4/10
Eugene made match bad again by posturing a lot. Tomko was bad as well as he seemed weaker then his normal matches that he has been involved in. Conway was bad as well. Great to see teh Superfly return to the ring.

Carlito vs Mankind 6/10
The return of Mankind. Mankind proved that he can wrestle with the best. The retutn of Mr Socko was great especially with the hair.

World Tag Team Championship
Murdoch & Cade vs Kane & Show 7/10
Kane and Big Show finally go what they deserved. They got championship which hasn't been seen for a long time/ The double Chokeslam is monstrous with these two. Murdoch and Cade got some sdvantage but their cockeness cost them the match.

Street Fight
Batista vs The Coach with Goldust & Vader 3/10
Batsiat is great as he taught Coach a lesson. Great to see Goldust again. Vader wasn't as great as he didn't demolish Batista as he should have.

Womens Championship Fulfill Your Fantasy Battle Royal 7/10
Trish win's Tabbo Tuesday battle royal again. But i wasn't concentrating on that much as i was watching what they wore then how they wrestled.

IC Championship
Flair vs HHH 9/10
As good as Hardy & Edge's at Unforgivien but not as great as Flair is too slow. Triple H made the match look good again.

Triple Threat Match for the WWE Championship
Cena vs Angle vs Michaels 8/10
Cena proves that he is one of the best WWE Champions in the WWE. Beating two of the best WWE Chapions in history. Michaels proves again why he is the showstopper. Angle is ready for a title win.
