Synopsis
WWE Survivor Series 2005 On November 27, 2005, the WWE roared into Detroit for its annual SURVIVOR matchup. A jam-packed showdown between the stars of RAW and SMACKDOWN, the year-end roundup included the return of the Undertaker; a WWE Championship between John Cena and Kurt Angle; a U.S. Championship between Chris Benoit and Booker T; a Last Man Standing Match between Ric Flair and Triple H; and a 5-man Tag Team pitting Shawn Michaels, Kane, Big Show, Carlito, and Chris Masters of Team RAW against Batista, Randy Orton, JBL, Rey Mysterio, and Lashley of Team SMACKDOWN.

I found this match ok just a problem it gets boring watching Booker T and Chris Benoit fighting i mean it was all the time for 7 matches that happend during weeks of ahead. This match is ok

Trish Stratus w/ Mickie James vs Melina 9/10
The diva matches are never to good but I enjoyed this match Melina put up a good fight and this is one of her best. Trish Stratus she is way better the whole story of Trish and Mickie James was great which made this an interesting match. If Trish was not wrestling this match then it would of failed

Triple H vs Ric Flair 10/10
One of my favorites to Survivor Series Triple H and Ric Flair what makes me laugh is when Ric Flair is getting beat up by Triple H he makes this funny wounded animal sound. Triple H takes it right to Flair screwdriver to the head gives him the pedigree about 3 times i think it was. The match finished off with a sledgehammer right to Ric Flair

John Cena vs Kurt Angle: Special Guest Referee Daivari 3/10
This match was boring John Cena is overrated Kurt Angle is a better wrestler all you got to do is look at his past WWE career. WWE makes a joke out of Kurt and makes him lose to Cena.

SmackDown vs RAW Match
General Managers Match
Teddy Long vs Eric Bischoff 1/10
This match is more like 2 girls fighting Eric does his karate while Teddy is scared. The match ends with the Boogeyman Eric a pump handle slam causing Teddy to get the win. Why WWE put this on the survivor series event i don't know.

Classic Surivor Series Elimination Match
Team SmackDown (Batista, JBL, Rey Mysterio, Lashley and Randy Orton) vs Team RAW (Shawn Michaels, Chris Masters, Carlito, Kane and Big Show) 10/10
The story between this was great and i was there a week before Survivor Series was aired i was at Smackdown in Sheffield England when Raw invaded the show. It had a great build up to the match and this offers some of the best wrestlers WWE have or had now. Lashley i believe is the first wrestler to go out of this match after Kane and Big Show. The overall win is Randy Orton picking up his 3rd win in The Survivor Series tournament he won 2003, 2004 and 2005. Undertaker appears at the end during Randy Orton's celebrating in the ring.

This was a great PPV for all WWE fans it has featured a lot of action it is a lot better then previous Survivor Series. This features a few boring matches but it always happens.

The 19th annual survivor series and one of the best in recent years,although this years,the 21st annual was brilliant,this event need not blush in your collection,a great event for various reasons.
The opening contest was the first in a best of 7 series for the vacant united states championship between booker t and chris benoit,the match was good but the truth is that benoit was not in the form of his life here,he was bad tempered and picking fights with sharmell on the outside which isnt his usual way,booker t had to work hard to make this match look that great,the reason for benoits tortured looking soul certainly lay in the fact that his pal eddie gurrerro wasnt long dead at this juncture so i guess its forgivable.
Next up was the womans title match,the champ trish fought melina,this match was decent enough,trish wasnt the worst femal wrestler and melina gave her plenty of hits so a good contest if im honest.
Onlt the third match of the night now and what a contest,last man standing match between triple h and ric flair,this match had it all,its no coincidence that some of the great matches in the last few years contained at least one of these two men,they beat the life out of each other and came back for more,the match was immense,the crowd lapping it up like starved mongrels,the blood was scorching the arena,both men gave everything and then some more and in the end something had to give but neither man let anyone down,least of all themselves.
Next up was john cena vs kurt angle and what a match again,two great athletes although you would have to say that angle is better,but by no means was cena overshadowed,he was the champ and fought like one,if you like to see referees getting smashed up then you can enjoy two of them here,the match was great and the arena was pleased like a child on xmas morning.
General manager vs general manager next,teddy long vs eric bischoff,this match wasnt that great,so much hype and the truth is that the match was really a way to launch the career of the boogeyman,he was garbage anyway,the result pleased the crowd but if this was a real fight bischoff would have won due to his martial arts knowledge that isnt kayfabe at all.
Next up was another excellent match,plenty of this kind on this night then,team smackdown which featured batista,rey mysterio,he was saddened by gurrerros loss as well but fought like a lion,jbl,lashley and randy orton vs team raw which was made up by kane,shawn michaels,the big show,carlito and chris masters.
These matches are great,on the one band it is team verus team,brand vs brand,bragging rights vs ,well you get the idea,but on the other hand you probably hate your teammates so trust isnt intact here.This match was simply great and a credit to all involved,perhaps the match of the night,yeah perhaps but there is plenty to choose from.

A good start to Survivor Series and what good be a great best out of 7 series match. The ending was boring and stupid

A decent women's match that didn't disappoint in skill and the looks department

Triple H vs Ric Flair 9/10
An excellent last man standing match with lots of brutal spots and I thought Flair would not be able to cut it in this kind of match and environment but he does it like it's a piece of cake

To be honest as much as a fan of Cena and Angle I am I am really getting board of these two wrestling and trying to out do each other

A fun match to watch that had a mix of wrestling veterans like JBL, Mysterio, HBK, Kane and Show and new talent like Batista, Masters, Carlito, Orton and the impressive Lashley. The only draw back is it was over way to quickly.

The last man standing match and the main event make this card worth watching the other matches are mediocre at best plus we do get to see the return of The Undertaker watch out Randy Orton.
