    Work great but too dark to write on!4
    I agree with the previous comment that these disks are too dark to write clearly on. I have stopped buying TDK disks for this reason alone. It's a shame since my previous 50 disks all worked flawlessly(burned at 12x) and I do trust the brand.

    I've used TDK discs and had no problems writing to or reading from them in my Sony HD/DVD recorder - they work very well. However, I've only used them in that one machine so there could be compatibility issues with other machines.

    I'm on my second spindle now with 100% success using a Pioneer 115DBK. Good value!
