Roy at his best!
I have this on Vinyl and it is about worn out so I was ecstatic when the CD came out - I cannot recommend this CD highly enough from start to finish it is very polished performances by all artists particularly Roy himself it is an album you do not want to stop and I wish it could have gone on much longer BRILLIANT!

What a Legend!
If your a fan of Roy Orbison, or even if you're not - buy this cd, and infact buy the dvd aswell! I've had it on regular play for the past 2 years and still fail to be moved by the quality of Roy's voice, the instrumental genious backing him and the sublime lyrics of his very greatest hits. 'Mean woman blues' in particular still blows me away. The only unfortunate aspect of this cd is that it makes other recordings seem somewhat inferior, and perhaps the production could have been more creative and exploited the pheonominal backing singers into a duet or two. Its very much to the script - but that voice needs no support regardless. Its magical, emotional and a great tribute to the big-O

Superlative
Not just good or great but superlative. thats more than likely bad grammar, but this CD is brilliant. Despite the fact that the listener may be familiar with most of the tracks and heard them many times before they sound and feel as fresh as Springtime.
