The best personal headphones around
I've used these headphones for around a year now and they just get better with age. At first they were a little uncomfortable but now they've moulded to the shape of my ear and fit perfectly. Personally I found the rubber cones better than the foam ones and they don't need cleaning too often (depends on how waxy your ears are...). As for the sound quality they are fantastic. I always use these on the Tube in London and they block out the external noise remarkably well. My music sounds crisp and clear and I don't have to have it playing at a loud volume. Not that it would matter as no sound leaks out to annoy your fellow travellers! If you want the best value headphones around, then buy these. Now.
Musical Bliss......
First impressions... very solid construction. Good quality cable with a gold plated 3.5mm jack... Excellent!!
Next you have to select from a number of different sized foam and rubber pieces that will form the seal in your ear. It is important to get a tight seal for good bass extension... any leaks and the sound will be poor! I opted for the rubber seals, providing the most comfort in my opinion.
Inserting the units into your ear is not the easiest thing to achieve at first, but once in you'll know. Its like wearing ear plugs, so you get a substantial attenuation of exterior sound. Always a good thing! :)
I was quite excited to hear these and upon turning my walkman on I was NOT dissapointed!!! The E2c's sound AWESOME!!! Clarity and definition I've never heard from other in ear units! Beautiful glassy highs, controlled mids and, and tight lows. Even touching on small amounts of sub bass. Unreal!!! Now, there are in ear units that provide much more bass such as Sony's MDREX71's. If you like over blown lows you're better off going for something like the Sony's. But if you enjoy listening to music in its purest form you can't go wrong with the E2c's. The detail extracted from the music is incredible. I'm hearing things I've not heard before. I can't listen to a whole track because I'm too excited to hear the next!!! :) You really get involved in the music. I've lost hours wearing these things :)
Musical Bliss........ENJOY!!!!
