Good product, if a little cumbersome.
As anybody with a 5th generation iPod video will know, the screen scratches very easily. In facy, any part of it does. Clearly, protection is necessary.
The iSkin eVo3 is very good at this. The clickwheel is still perfectly usable through the thin sillicone rubber, and you can see the screen and access the headphone socket very easily. Your iPod is protected from minor shocks and bumps, and stays scratch-free. The removable clip is very good too - even on long runs, the ipod has remained firmly attached to the waistband of my shorts, and I don't worry about it falling off.
In short, the iSkin does exactly what you buy it to do.
My criticisms are as follows:
Getting the ipod into the skin is fiddly at best, and getting the protective screen in is a bit of an artform.
You may never want to take your iPod out of the skin, however, as the dock port is perfectly accessible. But, if you want to use it, say, with a set of iPod speakers, or to put it in an iPod holder in your car, you will probably find the iSkin has made your player too bulky to fit. This means that the process of taking the skin on and off becomes a little irritating, so I don't use the skin all the time.
Finally - and this is really being picky - the 'hold' (or lock) switch is a little difficult to use through the skin. However, in my experience, you don't need to worry about putting your ipod on hold if it's in the skin and in your pocket.
So, 4 stars because it does exactly what you expect, losing one for being a little impractical at times.

the long but complete review...
This case is great, looks cool, great colour and makes my ipod resistant to small bashes and the odd rain but most of all makes my ipod completly scratch proof. I'll admit the case does add bulk to the ipod but what do you expect a case to do? the air holes at the back i can guess make a diffrence when the ipod is warm by helping it to cool easier inside the case. The cover over the click wheel is good too, making the ipod seem completly covered and protected. the flaw in this is that the rubber silicon makes it harder to search through long lists by adding resistance to your finger, press lightly! the headphone hole is fine, no problems there. The hold switch is more difficult to move but is still managable. the dock cover is useful to cover the base up from dirt etc and i can still plug my griffin transmitter in perfectly. Lastly, the rubber/ silicon case does attract dust onto itself, but it dosn't affect the ipod so why worry?

On a whole this case is brilliant, faily cheap compared to other, great look and does its job well. I'm glad to know my ipod will last for much longer with this.

Finally a tough ipod case that is up to the job!
After trying a couple of other iPod cases neiter of which I found particularly suitable for a woman who likes to carry her iPod around in her bulging handbag, filled with potential iPod scratching items like keys, pens etc, I have finally found a solution! This case really gives great all round protection for the iPod the only part that remains exposed is where the earphones plug in. The case fits perfectly, the screen cover is great as it forms an integrated part of the casing as does the click wheel cover. Wheel works fine with the cover, which I was concerned about before I purchased the item.
Would recommend this to anyone who needs a high degree of protection for their iPod!
