Synopsis
When master warrior Kwun (Jet Li) returns to his village to find that his young son Ting is the sole survivor of vicious massacre by Manchu soldiers, he hits the vengeance trail, training the young boy in the martial arts along the way. For seven years, father and son are on the run. They encounter five Shaolin monks upon whom fragments of a treasure map have been tattooed. Before long, wicked Manchu leaders find out about the maps and set out in search of the masters. Kwun and Ting unite with the monks and brace themselves for the battle of their lives against the forces that destroyed their village. The breathtaking and often comical martial arts sequences were choreographed by Corey Yuen (THE ONE, ROMEO MUST DIE).

Customer Reviews

Maybe had it not been played with by the Americans it would be better2
This film basically is badly directed, has a bad script, poor acting, is very cheesy and has a lousy storyline. All these things could of been have forgiven by the awesome martial arts and if your a Jet Li fan, his appearance in it, however being further ruined by the American dubbing actually makes the film near unwatchable. In all honestly I was sort of glad it went on for 1hr 20 minutes, so yeah if just watching Jet Li is enough for you then watch this film, otherwise don't expect much.

Convincing4
I was very impressed by this film. A bi corny but fighting was amazing with no trampline
