Manufacturer's Description
You beat one defender, then another, then another, then another then curled it into the top corner from 37.5 yards out in your dreams! Do it for "real" in Sensible Soccer!

With insane speed, spectacular goals with loads of after-touch, gripping gameplay and a zoomed out camera for the best view of the pitch it's all in the return of Sensible Soccer, coming to PlayStation 2, Xbox and PC this summer.

And on top of everything loved by millions comes new features, including replays with typical Sensible Soccer humour that feature caricatured players with the biggest heads you've ever seen in football!

Inspired by the pixel players with enlarged heads of the original game, this all new version of Sensible Soccer will include fast cutting replays that take you right into the action as your big-headed players, shown in a new 3D cel-shaded visual style, celebrate those outrageous curling goals from 30 yards out in glorious animations that you were always telling your mates about.

The new exaggerated visual style of the game perfectly complements the addictive, super fast kick-about gameplay that's just pure Sensible Soccer.

When the replay's done you're straight back to the match viewed with Sensi's trademark zoomed out camera. The return of a bird's-eye view to football gaming lets you see more of the pitch and provides you with the very best way to execute your passing, dribbling, and perfect finishing.

why why why?? 2
Ok first of all the greatest football game I ever played was Sensible Soccer 95/96 on the Amiga, the upgrade version for season 96/97 was just as good and I still have these games up until now. The gameplay in these games is much better then anything that's ever been produced since, Pro Evolution Soccer, Fifa, none of them can compare. I think the problem with this game being so bad is they have obviously changed the game, but the point is they didn't need to, why not keep the original, re-release it with season 2006/2007, so we would have new players, i would love to make a new Sensible Soccer team like I used to and buy players like Ronaldinho and Henry and Kaka. Thats what the fans want, not this, why didn't the developers do what the fans wanted, if they had the game wouldn't have such bad reviews, I have the game but I'm about to sell it back on here for £2-£3, thats all its worth, the old Sensible World of Soccer 95/96 and 96/97 edition for the amiga costs around £50 if you want it now!! And so many would still buy it. Why do think that is developers?, it's because people loved that game and they don't love this, why make such a mess from something so great and why not hire some real SWOS fans to test the game before you release them. If you did then you would have the best selling game on the market, PLEASE re-release Sensible World Of Soccer on the PS2 with Season 2006/2007 players, make it just how it was on the Amiga and watch how well it does.

OH GOD WHAT HAVE THEY DONE2
Sensible Soccer was one of the first games I played at a young young age. I loved it's cute little sprites, with players that looked like they were permanently surprised. I love just how quick it was, without ever being overwhelming. It just flowed.

This, however is just... not. It just doesn't have the charm of the original. It feels clunky and it lacks that special spark of the originals.

Such a shame. Such a shame...

So Disappointing, so, so unhappy2
Now I'm one of those who remembers and loved with all enyment SWOS on the Amiga. When I heard they were finally going to create a new Sessible Soccer, I couldn't wait. What a waste of a good game, it puts the game in a very un-natural light, that it does nor belong to. Bring back the Amiga version!!!!!!!
