Amazon.co.uk Review
Psapp are vocalist Galia Durant and producer Carim Clasmann. With their debut album Tiger, My Friend, the duo showcased a charming penchant for enchanting, quirky songs built from intimate found-sounds and kooky electro-acoustic instrumentation, and guided by Clasmann’s sideways-pop aesthetic. The Only Thing I Ever Wanted continues the multi-textural experiments, Clasmann matching his endlessly inventive and immaculately detailed arrangements (bicycle bells, insect clicks, strings, harmonica) to Durant’s crystalline vocals, conjuring up shimmering vignettes that recall Matthew Herbert’s inspired imaginings. Itchy, clangy, restless and nuanced, there are hints of melancholy through the album—"New Rubbers", "Tricycle"--and even some high drama on occasion, but the project is mostly fuelled by a passion for skewed loveliness, more often than not built from a wealth of idiosyncratic sounds and embellished by Durant’s nuanced lyrics and captivating voice. --Paul Sullivan

Original, Enchanting, Memorable
Stumbled across this a while back and just keep coming back to is. You will not have heared much like it before, plink, plonk noises in a rhythmic pattern with interesting vocals over the top.
A bit like you and a lot of mates tapping on lids and boxes in the kitchen but it does work well. Mellow and relaxing too.
Sort of sounds very unusual and experimental at first, but really is not. A real grower. Looking forward to seeing them live this weekend at the Big Chill!
Utterly beautiful
I never expected to like Psapp but I bought Tiger My Friend and loved it, so moved on to this. All I can say is I'm glad I did.
