Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition
For all Racing Fanatics.. and for those who aren't..
This is the best racing game i've played this year (so far). There are so
many things to do. The graphics are pretty amazing and so is the whole
concept of the game.
There are loads of options when it comes to racing. You can compete or
practice, you can even make your own race track..!!
You can customise your car or bike at your garage. Soooooo much choice..!!
I really enjoyed this game and i still do.
It gets even better if you have the Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition Remix
(buy separately).
I don't think i'll ever get bored of this game..!!
Excellent exciting racing!!!
I must admit I was a bit unsure about buying this game even after all the favourable reviews I had read in magazines. I've got Gran Turismo, the Burnout games, TOCA etc, did I really need another racing game.
Anyway when I saw this going cheap I decided to take a chance and bought a copy. I wasn't disappointed!!!!
I have been playing this for a couple of weeks now and I have still only just made it to the second of the three cities.
There are many race types including tournaments and face-offs to win newer cars or upgrades for current vehicles. The gameplay is excellent and you will be hooked from the start with plenty of races and cars, bikes, SUVs to unlock.
Definitely my favourite racing game on PS2 after the Burnout games.
Definately maybe
I bought this game because it was on offer and i needed a game to tidy me over until NFS Carbon. I wasn't sure whether or not it'd be any good as it has a lot to live up to, but never the less it did live up to it and a little more. The soundtrack is a great accompaniment to the game and must be credited and then the game itself... It looks good, it plays well, it keeps you hooked. The cut scenes got a little tedious but lets face it you don't buy a game for the cut scene. The range of cars on offer is wide and well varied although i personally didn't like the bikes. The cars are your normal high end tuners startin with the eclipse, golf and others up through evo viii's supra's and elise's to the top stuff. You've also got for the slightly retro of you the muscle cars where the likes of a 57 bel air a 69 charger and a 78 monte carlo to name a few are. Theres a load of luxury sedans thrown in with mercs, lexus and high end veedubs. But wait theres more theres trucks and suv's too. Then you can modify them up how you like. My personal favourite is the ride dimensions, I have a black 69 charger full of chrome on 22inch rears and 18 inch front rims with 355 and 295 tyres to suit and the ride dropped 4 inches at the front and 2 at the back. You can do your own colour on the paintshop with a slider to get just the right shade. I could rave about this game for ages the only downside i have found is some of the races can be just plain hard to win but if you can overcome that the game is your oyster. A must for a racing collection by anyones standards.
