How Good Can It Get?
The Cat Empire have continued their good form with a stonker, Cities: The Cat Empire Project.
I listened to this album 5 times the first day I got it and only stopped because i fell asleep and couldn't press play on the Hi-Fi! The first track, Cities is a great opener with a very up-beat feel, and despite reminiscent in mood seems to look forward to the future. I don't think there is one weak track on this album, and The Cat Empire have taken their fusion of mis-matched genres further by creating a very funky track 10, Side To Side. My personal favourite on the album is Jungle, because that is exactly what it sounds like, the drum beat is classic, but when used in The Empire's fusion seems to become completely original all over again.

This album is up their with the previous albums, Two Shoes and The Cat Empire and pushes the boudndaries further... how good can it get?
