Acoustic Paradise5
With a distinctive voice and a natural talent for song-writing Declan O'Rourke's Since Kyabram is one of the best acoustic albums I have ever heard. Packed full of heart-warming songs O'Rourke really has it all: his songs are written with beautiful lyrics, set to enchanting melodies on warm arrangements.

A testament to the quality of this album is the range of songs that become favourites. Some reviews site No Place to Hide and Galileo as the stand-out tracks, whereas my picks are the chillingly beautiful Sarah, a simple, song-writer's song of breathtaking elegance, and the more up-beat and rousing No Brakes.

Every song on this album is different, and every one is a winner. From the atmospheric Marrying The Sea to the heart-warming Love is the Way the variety to O'Rourke's song-writing leaves something new around every corner.

This is an album that just gets better with every listen, and I couldn't recommend it highly enough for any music fan. It's as close to a rich mug of hot chocolate as you can get from a CD.

A must have for acoustic fans everywhere!5
This album is a must have for all acoustic fans. Declans voice is unique and powerful, yet still manages to hit a few high notes, while holding on to his masculinity. The album is a mix of ballads and more up tempo acoustic songs. Declan is the master of the unconventioanl love song, which is highlighted in songs such as Sarah, Everything is Different and Marrying the Sea/Til Death Do Us Part. Other tracks such as No Brakes, One way Minds and Love is The Way hightlight his talent for more upbeat songs.
No Place to Hide and Galileo are by far my favourite tracks and I am yet to find anyone who doesn't love these songs. I promise you will not be dissapointed if you buy this album.

Brought me back home5
So there I was surfin' away on the Web and I came across a bio of Declan on Wikipedia. Hey he's from Ballyfermot. That caught my attention. That's not far away from where I used to live(Palmerstown) 30 years ago before moving to Gay Paree. Now there was always a lot of musical talent in that area so curiosity(and nostalgia) got the best of me and I decided to buy this album. It has left me speechless. 'Sarah' in my humble opinion has to be one of the most beautiful songs ever written. This music is universal. Anyway as I'm now meant to be speechless I will say no more.
Buy it.. You will not be disappointed
Thanks for that music Declan. It has moved me so much you can't imagine.
