After ten years of big beat mayhem, Norman Cook, former bassist with the Housemartins, presents his first greatest hitscollection. From the raw, sample-laden sounds of his debut, through the polished, commercial releases that yielded his biggest hits, to the more organic, song-based work of late, this provides an excellent introduction to the career of a hugely popular and successful artist. Includes his remix of Cornershop's 'Brimful Of Asha' as well as the new single 'That Old Pair Of Jeans'.

Fatboy Slim Great Music
This is absolutely brilliant from start to finish, it's not often I like every track on an album; but this is one of them! Definite 'feel-good' music!!
Awesome
Ok I am a huge fan of rock and indie music ordinarily but I saw an advert for this album in a magazine, I remembered the excellent video for "Praise You" by Spike Jonze and remember enjoying the song, so I did some digging. Looking down the track listings for this album, it occured to me not only did I recognise all of the songs but I actually liked them all as well. That in a nut shell is the brilliance of this greatest hits collection, 16 classics all with huge cross over potential. With the summer coming up this is a perfect soundtrack to the holidays. It's definitly going to be nestled amongst my Muse, Queens of the stone age ..ect... Cd's on my lads holiday to Spain.
Best track: Theres a loads but I guess my favourite is Sunset~
Worst track: Probs the new ones
Best thing: It's an awesome summer record
Worst thing: Some songs can drag a bit
4/5 Buy it...
what a selection
fatboy slim has been around for what seems forever and this greatest hits cd really shows off all of his talents.
it has some of the best songs of the 90's on with the brilliant praise you and Rockafeller Skank. also the surprise inclusion of brimfull of asha and i see you baby is brilliant and these two tracks help make this album great. my only complaint is that weapon of choice is not on here which is an amazing song but it has the video of it on the cd which comes with the free dvd.
anyone should buy this album it will be perfect for summer and maybe introduce you into a new genre
