I don't trust it anymore
I bought one of these a while ago and my system just got the ring of death. a: it's not made by microsoft b: it covers up the existing cooling system and then tries to cool the console with 3 basic fans, ok... c: it's really noisy

Don`t buy it!
I got myself a 360 in mid-may and due to the heat it was producing decided to buy myself the NYKO fan at the end of May. For the first 3 weeks all was well and it did what it was supposed to, but today I went to turn on my 360 and got the 3 red rings of doom, so I unplugged the machine and unclipped the fan to find that 2 of the pins on the unit were badly melted and burnt and this had caused pins in my 360 power lead to melt as well!!! So now I cant use my 360, i`ve emailed both Microsoft and NYKO, but as it is`nt a licensed piece of kit i`m not holding by breath for a replacement free of charge. Prices for a new PSU are around £50.
So my advice would be to use the 360 the way it comes out of the box and if it burns itself out at least Microsoft will have to change it.

Nyko 360 Intercooler
Overall a worthwhile product, I wanted to cool my 360 further cause it was within an enclosed hi-fi rack.

Number of times getting game lock-up / screen freeze has reduced significantly.

Points to note: Noise from your console is much greater with 3 extra fans in the Intercooler running - although you can switch the unit off manually. Also if you're fitting the official 360 wireless adapter the Intercooler interferes with the fitting slightly - although you can get them side-by-side.
