Customer Reviews
Gaming as it should be! PSP heaven!
If I saw this game in the shops I would give it a miss as the artwork on the case looks very childish! However based on recommendations I parted with my cash and am so glad I have!
In this day and age there is so much emphasis on graphics than good old fashioned addictive gameplay. This is all about the latter. As some of the reviews here confirm, you cannot help but giggle while you play this game and how many games elicit that reaction??
Forget complex rules and 50 page instruction booklets - the simplicity and cute 2d graphics of this game makes it fun from the first minute and as the skill levels increase (and they really do- making this game as good for adults as the kids!) the enjoyment also increases. Puzzles are thought provoking but not frustratingly so (UNLIKE MERCURY!). The cute loco roco's jiggle their heads in time with the catchy tunes - simple things but genius touches make this an essential buy!
This is gaming heaven and I recommend this 100%. Along with everybodys golf, this is my joint favourite game on PSP by a mile. Go buy it you will not regret it - honest! Playing is believing.
Perfect
Stop reading reviews and just buy this game! Download the demo first if you are not sure.
Don't be put off by the box or screenshots - you might think it is a kids game, but as soon as you hit the title screen you will have a smile on your face. I found myself smiling all the way to work on the train, and the music is so great, I would walk with it on the title screen just listening to it over and over. When you have one loco it sings along too, and when you have lots they all sing along together.
In fact I gave this to my 4 year old daughter and she did the first 3 levels without too much help - the funiest thing was that she was tilting the screen left and right to try to get them to roll down - that is a testament to how realistic the movement is
Just the demo has convinced me!
I have only tried the demo of this game and already I am addicted!
The object of the game is to get the LocoRocos, small, space-hopper type creatures, to safety by tipping the landscape with the PSP's L and R buttons. A simple objective, but incredibly addictive, as the landscapes are so creative and fun to explore! There are some very challenging parts even in the demo world, so if you're unsure about buying it, go to this website and try it for yourself:

There's also music samples and stories, instructions etc. A very good product!
