Product Description

Ex-Busted member and I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here 2006 winner Matt Willis' debut solo release proves that his talent extends far beyond bug eating. Featuring a far more mature sound than Busted, 'Don't Let It Go To Waste' brings together elements of Green Day, Blink 182 and Robbie Williams, resulting in a mix of upbeat rock anthems and string-laden ballads. The album was written with and produced by Daniel P. Carter and Jason Perry, formerly of rock band A, and includes the singles 'Hey Girl', 'Don't Let It Go To Waste' and 'UpAll Night'.

Surprisingly Good!5
Who? Never heard of him. Apparently he used to be in some yanky band that broke up after some to-do or something.
I heard a trailor on a couple of tracks and really liked them, so downloaded this (legally).
And its blinking great!
I'm 43, and reckon this is a superb debut solo album. Some great tracks!
Recommended. Even for 43 yr olds!!

Not going to waste5
I would expect Matt Willis to have done what James Bourne of Son Of Dork did, and follow in the same footsteps as Busted. But Willis has moved on to bigger and better things. Willis' solo debut Don't Let It Go To Waste is full of anthemic stadium pop, with a more mature heavier sound than that of Busted's. Think Solo Green Day mixed with a bit of The Sex Pistols with a hint of Imogen Heap. Don't Let It Go To Waste has the potential to take Willis above and beyond the sucess of Busted and become one of the UK's leading solo artists. Don't be put off by Matt Being in Busted, he has grown as both a singer & songwriter. Busted fans may be interested in this album along with any fans of good pop-rock music.

Poor Matt4
Some Cds deserve more recognition, although this isnt the best album ive ever heard, it is actually pretty good.
dont let it go to waste is a fantastic song, along with a few other stand out songs such as up all night and hey kid. we really need to support the artists who are making real music instead of letting them go to waste.
