90 mins of fine prog4
This captures the band in studio footage, live tv performances, and a concert recorded at the Charleroi Palais des Expos in September 1975.

Tracks:
1. Whatever Robert Would Have Said
2. Darkness
3. Theme One
4. A Plague of Lighthouse Keepers
5. The Undercover Man
6. Arrow
7. Scorched Earth
8. The Sleepwalkers

The main part of this film was recorded at Charleroi, Palais des Expos, on 27th September 1975, this gig captures the classic Van der Graaf line up of Hugh Banton, Guy Evans, David Jackson and Peter Hammill on their 1975 tour.

Also featured are two rare tracks from German television which completes the round of of just about all of the survivng Van der Graaf footage. The film quality is very good especially considering this is from 1970 - 1975.

Personally, I love this but I had some sense of deja vu having rented the 'Inside' DVD a month or so ago.

That would be just another.... lie1
I have all the previous Classic Rock editions of Van Der Graaf Generator DVDs, and the ONE AND ONLY thing I awaited from this disc is the fullscreen (untrimmed in this case) aspect ratio of the Beat Club footage. Alas, the description proves it is fullscreen, however in fact it is the same suffocated (on top and on bottom) picture.
One star only for having all the stuff on a single disc....

Oh, yes, one final word about the physical condition of the disc. I have no complain about it arrived not fixed on the discholder (this happens sometimes, however not with the generic DVD cases), but what made me nervous is the dirt on the active surface, which I had to wipe off with a tissue. Arrrrgggghhhhh!!! Whoever is responsible for the assembling discs in that studio, I am not satisfied with what I found inside.
