The WarioWare team took an idea so wacky, it could only be made with the latest technology ... the Wii Remote. Wario and his pals learn fun, wacky moves after discovering a strange book and a mystical device called the Form Baton. Players must clear fast-paced sets of microgames, changing the way they hold the Wii Remote each time. As they do, they?ll unlock more microgames and souvenirs. Features: WarioWare is back with a whole new set of moves. When Wario? stumbles upon a strange device called a Form Baton, he and his friends use it to learn new moves that are as fun as they are wacky. With hundreds of microgames, this game is just as wild as you?d expect from the name WarioWare, but the game play has been revolutionized. Under Wario?s tutelage, and with the help of the Wii Remote, players will swing, spin and squat their way to victory. With about 200 lightning-quick microgames and controls that range from scribbling to flailing, WarioWare: Smooth Moves takes interactive gaming to a whole new level. All players need is a Wii Remote and their best moves to be the champ. With games that are as much fun to play as they are to WATCH people play, WarioWare: Smooth Moves brings the party to its feet. It?s hilarious for players and audiences alike.

Editorial Reviews
Amazon.co.uk Review:
In a nutshell:
Wario is back with more new ways to use the Wii Remote than you'd ever imagine. Whether it's balancing it on your head or chopping vegetables in mid-air this is one game where you'll literally never know what's coming next.
The lowdown:
Anyone that's played a previous Wario Ware game will have some idea of the insanity that awaits in this first Wii outing. Just like the portable versions the game contains over two hundred micro-games, most of which don't last any longer than five seconds. This provides the perfect excuse to use the Remote in as many ridiculous ways as possible, with each game using one of a dozen or so different ways of holding it, from the "waiter", where you hold it flat on your palm, to the "hula hoop" where you hold it against your hip. The actual games involve everything from picking someone's nose in 3D, to balancing an umbrella on your finger tips and replacing a granny's false teeth. It's just as silly as it sounds but easily the most instantly enjoyable game on the Wii.
Most exciting moment:
Like the GameCube game WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Party Game$, Smooth Moves also has a multiplayer mode for up to four people, as you both take turns with the single player games and join in together with specially made mini-games.
Since you ask:
Although there are a number of different modes the main single player campaign still includes a longer "boss battle" at the end of each set of themed micro-games. The only one that's been shown so far involves driving a car around using the remote and trying to avoid monkeys and cows on the road.
The bottom line:
The Wii Remote gets a through workout in the funniest Wario Ware yet.- HARRISON DENT
Edge
The freedom of movement and thought is absolutely intoxicating.
Games Master
Bigger than before and funny enough to make anyone smile

Awesome!!!
I think this game is really brilliant!! Although multiplayer is a bit of a let down the one player is absoulutely great fun! With 100's of random minigames you dont know what to expect its always a laugh and even after you have completed it theres still fun inside it and more minigames to find! I think its worth all the money and is one of the best wii games I own and I highly recommend it.
Unique, unbeatable.
It would take a lot of effort to sum up this game, so i will go straight to what you curious readers want to know, and what you need to know.
Wario Smooth Moves is the heartbeat of the Wii. It is the game that has been advertised most for one clear reason: to promote the unique usage of the Wii remote and show off how it makes the WII console an extremely enjoyable, fun and social item.
Wario Smooth Moves is all about learning to use the Wii remote in ways you cannot imagine. The 1 player storyline has been made to gradually understanding the different moves and actions of the remote. By the time you finish the 1 player game you will have tried all the possible moves.
Multiplayer mode remains locked until the game is finished.
The fact you need to finish the 1 player game could be frowned upon, but it is an intelligent approach. This is because in order to play the game at least one person needs to understand the moves which are required (the moves you need to make are shown with a picture right before the start, if you have not played this game before you will not have a clue what to do, and it is extremely entertaining to see someone try to explain to someone else the moves you have to make!) The 1 player game can be finished in a couple of hours or less.
But this game is definitely not about 1 player mode. The 1 player mode is ocnsidered to be an introduction to the game, which is what multiplayer mode is all about. I can honestly say I have never enjoyed a playing a videogame with others as much as I have done with this one. There is a whole assortment of game styles to choose from, and quite incredibly up to 12 people can play at a time!
Imagine having to use the wii remote to "pump a ball" in just 3 seconds or managing to drink a pint of water by slowly tilting the wii remote towards your mouth as if it was the glass (and trying not to spill it!) in front of 11 people...
Quite simply, Wario Smooth Moves insures laugh-out-loud moments in bonding sections with family and friends. If you own a wii, this game is a must-have; if you are thinking of purchasing a wii, this should definitely be another reason why you should go for it!
Do read my review on the Wii if you are interested in this console. As for Wario Smooth Moves, my message is clear: it is the most sociable game ever made, and guarantees loads of fun and laughter!
Brilliant game, buy it
Only goes to show how different people are - the first thing I see is a review saying 'this game is awful'. I totally disagree - I think it's amazingly good fun! I bought it for our Wii along with the Sports game and Mario Super Galaxy and Zelda, and it's THIS game we've had by far the most fun out of. The whole family from teens to grannies finds it hilarious. Quick to pick up but not so easy to master and at times it actually has us in fits of laughter, either playing or watching someone else. Meanwhile Mario Galaxy is gathering dust (not instant enough), Zelda's been shelved (need hours and peace to play) = but no-one ever says No to 'let's go and play Smooth Moves for half an hour.'
I only hope they bring out another on similar lines.
