Amazon.co.uk Review
After a successful couple of outings on the PSone, it’s been a bit of mystery as to what’s happened to Sir Daniel Fortesque (deceased). In MediEvil: Resurrection, he returns from the grave yet again, for a welcome new PSP outing that breathes new life into his undead adventures.

The MediEvil games don’t do anything especially original or taxing -- they’re simply very well designed action adventures with a nice line in comedy situations, particularly the craven coward that is Sir Dan himself. This PSP game is, however, completely new, with a much improved combat system and a lot more weapons to employ.

Naturally the graphics are greatly improved from the PSone games, and indeed this could be the best looking of all the PSP launch titles, with some beautifully subtle lighting and impressively complex levels and enemies. The gameplay itself is a bit shallow, but played in small doses – as the portable format encourages – you’re unlikely to get tired of it before the end.

As an extra bonus, there are also eight wireless multiplayer mini-games, none of which are of any real consequence but perfectly entertaining with a few friends. Comedy rarely works in video games but the amusing ineptness of the "hero" marks a welcome return for one of gaming’s lost sons. -- Harrison Dent

Manufacturer's Description
One hundred years have passed since the evil Sorcerer Zarok was defeated at the Battle of Gallowmere, heroically cut down by a mortally wounded Sir Daniel Fortesque. Or at least, that's what the people were told; in fact poor Sir Dan was a bit of a coward, falling in the very first wave of arrows. Now Zarok has returned, turning day into night, and raising an undead army to conquer the land. As a side effect Dan has also been resurrected... now, he has the chance to defeat Zarok and in death become the hero he never was in life.

Great Fun!5
Medievil Resurrection is a great game!
I myself have replayed it 5 times and am still not bored of it. The graphics are quite "cartoony" if you like and are excellent!
I haven't seen a single glitch in it since i have had it and the quality is just great. The game play is, although a little bit repetitive great fun and there are plenty of different weapons to unlock.
I think the storyline really helps this game along. There are lots of characters that you really get to know well (Especially Dan!) and it is just great fun play through the fantasy land of Gallomere!
A great game to add to your PSP collection!

its not like it used to be4
First of all id like to point out that this is a great game and a must have for any psp lovers or medievil lovers, it took what was an origonally great game and made it better, visually and in the way the levels were laid out, i just have a few complaints, well anyone who has been on the first medievil game will realise that this is just a remake thats been tarted up, but its missing a few bits and pieces for example theres a level called the asylum grounds where you solve various riddles for this wierdo, and its not there and this was rather dissapointing as it was my favourite level, theres also the dan cam feature which let you look around in first person view and thats gone too, also, maybe its just me and ive become worse as a gamer, but it seems alot harder to kill enemies than the original, but thats it,

if you ask me you should get it, but if your expecting something completely new then go somewhere else, if your a die hard medieval fan you should get it, if your not bothered by little changes you should get it, but if you hate platformers you should not get it, obviously.

nice5
thought is was a very good remake i like the improved graphics and the minigames are fun
