Customer Reviews
A disappointment...
If you were disappointed with the film, don't bother with the game. It is based more on the film than the book (as is usual with this kind of game) but it cuts the few vital scenes that the film actually kept in.
Events are put in the wrong order, causing confusion for those friends of mine that haven't actually read the book, but decided to play the game.
You'd think that the game would keep in Eragons injury from Durza (Shade) which cripples him at the end of the 1st book and for the vast majority of the 2nd... what do the producers and makers think they're going to do to resolve that issue???
The graphics, despite it being a recent game release are poor; although the loading of levels is reasonably fast.
I finished the game in under 4 hours - and this was after a 12 hour shift at work, and loading the game at 1.30am in the morning... the levels are short and easy to work out - whether by accident or through actual thought process. I didn't die at all in any of the levels and completed the game feeling completly unsatisfied.
If you want to try it - wait until the game is in a bargin basket; because right now, it's not worth the money they're asking.
