Just the Job
Quite simply, these are just the job: cheaper than those other ones beginning with B, but just as effective at cutting out aircraft noise so you can actually enjoy the movie or listen to music in flight. Well worth the money.
Philips SHN9500/00 - Noise Cancelling Headphones
Excellent headphones, very good quality. There is just one thing about the noise cancelling and that is that they don't cut down on noise enough for me as I suffer with noise sensitivity, they do tone down the intensity of noise though. Things like noisy cars with loud engines and thumping music going past the house, my noisy budgie, and shouting brats noise is still getting through. When music plays it helps a little more in cutting out a bit more noise. The stereo sound is top quality though and I did need a new pair of headphones anyway and I am very pleased with them, they arrived the next day after ordering which was also excellent service from amazon. Thankyou amazon. If anyone has noise sensitivity I would say that these won't be sufficient enough at cutting down on noise. The top priced ones were just too expensive for me at the moment which is why I opted for these philips ones. I would just like to say in closing that if society wasn't so selfish with noise infliction on other people that there wouldn't be a need for noise cancelling headphones for people like myself!
good for under a bill
I just purchased these headphones from a high street retailer or is going out of buisness for £86 I actually intended to buy the bose qc3 for £300 but where informed you can only buy thewm on line and due to the fact I needed a headphone at the time I opted for these they do block out the noise but I can not say if they block it out more than any other headphones that cover your ear tightly asa these do the sound when usewith my vaio while watching a film was quite good, I was'nt blown away and on my ipod I can say they lacked depth. For the price I cannot compain but I will be invested in the qc3's though!
