Informative, well put together and good fun5
I was pleasantly surprised to find this is actually a really well put together documentary series. Gives you a great insight into the behind-the-scenes workings of a pop band, and how the marketing machines work.

At the same time the girls all come across as very grounded, intelligent individuals.

Cheryl is hilarous, and its probably worth buying just to see her toiling up the cobbled hills in Greece alone! Oh, and the time she gets drunk with Nadine... superb stuff!! and the point where the dog wees on her... she's a legend lol

But i'd be lying if the bikini shots of the girls round the various pools werent part of the appeal too of course ;-)

Well worth buying!5
I've only recently become a Girls Aloud fan hence I missed Off The Record when it was showing on tv, but I'm really glad I've got it on dvd as I can watch it as much as I like. Gives an really interesting insight into what goes on in a pop band's life, and of course we get to know what the girls are really like behind closed doors. Nadine mentions at the end that apparently none of them have been portrayed as themselves, makes you wonder the wild antics they really get into! Looking forward to Cheryl and Ashley Cole's version of newly weds documentary, I'll be straight in the queue to buy that :) Overall definately worth the money, good viewing even if you're not a fan as many of my friends enjoyed it too.

Girls Aloud's third DVD is a hit!4
When the TV show was on in April and May 2006, I stayed up late to watch it. Now that I own the DVD, I can watch the show whenever I like.

The documentary is interesting because the girls have numerous TV appearances, spend quality time with their nearest and dearest and get to travel the world. Cheryl's nephews and Nicola's brothers are cute, Ashley Cole is handsome and the girls are gorgeous, especially Cheryl (she's the best).

The swearing let me down and I thought the outtakes from the Girls Aloud offical website would be on the DVD, but they're not. I still find the unseen episode worth a watch though.

Overall, I give this DVD a 4/5 rating.
