Editorial Reviews

From The Studio
From the producer of the ground-breaking series Supersense comes this breath-taking follow-up. Combining state-of-the-art filming techniques with the latest research into animal senses, Supernatural unravels the extrasensory feats and near paranormal powers of animals. Episodes such as 'Time Warp' shows how time stretches depending on the animal's perception while 'The Paranormal' reveals lizards that can walk on water and fish that practice telepathy.

Simply Amazing5
When decided to buy I was not sure what to expect from this DVD. But wanted something new to add to my collection of nature documentary dvds.

Watched it straign away once it arrived. And was really amazed by it. Very intereseting, educatinal and entertaining. It explains in simple terms the "supernatural" around us, which turns out a natural powers of nature. This is a great DVD for the entire family. I am sure children will be glued to it.

BBC made another great quality nature documentary.
I absolutely loved it.
I strongly recomended it to anyone interested in nature.

Stunning news from the animal kingdom4
Being interested in animal behaviour I was surprised how many feats of animals were explained I didn't know about. For example I tried to read about the zigzag pattern zebra spiders (aka wasp-spiders) weav into their orb-web. I could never figure it out by prowling through books and the internet. But in this documentary you will find the astonishing answer along with many others, I might have never guessed at.
This documentary is quite keen to produce a visual eye candy. While you are circling a frozen pictures (as seen in the Matrix) it certainly makes a stunning effect but ads little to the story.
Sometimes they exaggerate or end up doing a lot of guesswork. Like for example the statement, that the fairy shrimps eggs can survive 10.000 years. Up to 15 years is reported (check with Wiki) and even that is amazing.
All together a highly entertaining and informativ presentation, suitable for all ages.
