Real vision - and more.
I've lost count of how often I've watched the tape, and later the DVD, of this documentary series. For sheer brilliance, I've never come across an equivalent, or anything like it. The recreation of the vastly superior senses of various species, such as the perception of infra-red and/or ultra-violet light, leaves me astounded. These are invisible spectra to the human eye. Somehow, they were constructed in a visible form for this broadcast. Then the advanced hearing and other senses of so many species, e.g. the dolphin (anything but the peaceful creature many would have us believe), so far in advance - including in the view of the US forces - of any human sense. Before long, I'll watch it again, as I did many years ago at its original broadcast almost 20 years ago. Even by the same team, it has never been equalled, still less surpassed.
