The Logic3 i-Station8 is a feature packed speaker system for iPod, which enables users to listen, sync and recharge their iPod. Uniquely the i-Station8 is fitted with an innovative Information Panel, a Backlit Liquid Crystal Display to show track information and display commands when the Multi Function IR Remote Control is used.

The visibly powerful i-Station8 produces hi-fi quality sound from its combination of active sub-woofer with bass radiator and its eight aluminium cone; neodymium full range drivers using Patented technology. The system also boasts the added convenience of an IR Remote control, allowing users to control all the functions of the i-Station8 and extended functions of the docked iPod including Play lists, Albums, Shuffle & Repeat.

Connecting an iPod to the i-Station8 is easy, simply place your iPod into the universal dock and you're set to go. The dock is compatible with all iPod's that have a 30 pin dock connector. While the iPod is docked to i-Station8 the iPod will automatically recharge, so there's no need to worry about battery level, just enjoy the music. The i-Station8 also includes S-Video and AV Video outputs allowing your photos or videos to be displayed on your TV Screen (dependent on iPod model).

The unit can be powered either using AC mains adaptor (supplied) or from 6 x AA batteries, allowing you to use the device wherever you choose.

Your iPod can be synchronized through the i-Station8 with a PC or Mac using its dock connector port. The i-Station8 can also be used as an external speaker system with other audio devices such as iPod shuffle, MP3's, MiniDisc, CD players or even a PC, laptop or Mac. The i-Station8 is a truly multi-functional speaker/docking system with universal dock for iPod.

Don't underestimate this unit!
Logic 3 aren't exactly a well know make, or even known for high quality sounds, but this unit performs admirably. The LCD screen is just a gimmick, but it works, as do the 9 speakers. The remote is particularly good, working from over 20' away. Its a hefty, high quality system that just works really well. I'm listening to Jose Gonzales' "Veneer" as I write this and it just sounds much better than any other competing product (I've tried quite a few). The battery option is a real bonus, we use it in the bathroom!!

Good things in little bundles
What you have in me is a true technophobe however I was bought an i-pod nano as a Christmas gift and deciding to get the best out of it sought a docking station. My son is the proud owner of a Bose which is of course a top draw system, having looked around and listening to a few which I must say didn't inspire me I plumped for the Logic3 a little worried having not been able to test run it..............Ah no problems at all when it arrived, it is a quite compact lightweight and stylish machine which fits easily into any area of the home, it was easy to get going, I had music from it in well under five minutes,
Best of all is the sound quality, very crisp and clear at all levels with quite a bit of power if that's what you look for, it has an easy to use remote which I found handy as I have it placed on a shelf.
No complaints at all, even my son was impressed, certainly a very good value system.

Not so little wonder
Absolutely impressed with this speaker system. After buying an Ipod Video I read all the reviews I could find on a speaker system suitable for locating in any living area. This meets all my needs. The speakers work wonderfully,you can enjoy full volume without distortion. The unit will also work with other mp3 players and I can also use it to amplify and add improve my portable computers sound when watching DVDs on it.
