Customer Reviews

Spolied by drumbeat2
The girls have clearly got great voices, but they are drowned out by their rhythm section. Why do groups do this? Why not just sing with accompaniment with guitars or other instruments. Pointless pounding repetitive drums ruin all the tracks in their relentless, and mixed-too-loud presence. If the manager of the group reads this review- go back to the studio, kick off the drummer and start again. It's not that I have anything against drums in music - but only when they exist to add something to the music, not to compete against its volume. Listen to how drums are used in proper music, like a Queen song, or in the various Chick Corea line ups over the years, and it's a world of difference. I suppose the answer is because the girls are working in the 'orrible brain dead world of "pop" music which demands its thumpy-thump sounds.

caught up in the WEBB!!!!5
These little hunnie pots blew old reggie away!! Reminded me of terence trent darby (the early stuff) and danni minogue's basement recordings. When big ol reggie got this litlle disc he ran a hot bath and soaped up his loins!!!! These chicks rock IT BIG STYLE!!!

Most talented new act of the 2000s5
I saw the Webb Sisters live last night, and have to say that the level of talent, originality and complexity of their music was inspiring and refreshing. It is not often that you hear a harp being played in a contemporary band setting, and the effect was pure magic. I was also really happily surprised to see an ocarina being played - bring back the ocarina!!! The girls have a soulful, folky rock sound, rich with emotion and serious musical talent. If you want to be first in there on the next big thing, the Webb Sisters are where its at.
