DVD Description

The Deal or No Deal Interactive DVD Game invites you to enter the money-making dream factory. If you've ever watched the hit TV show "Deal Or No Deal" at home, wondering how you'd fare in the crazy chair, then this is your chance to find out. Now you can play at home to beat The Banker--if you make the right deal at the right time that is! On this interactive DVD host Noel Edmonds guides you through each stage of the game. Along the way you can ask advice from your favourite contestants from the show, ask The Banker a question, request an insightful poem, or try out the brand new lucky dip feature. It's your show, it's your game... but have you got what it takes to beat The Banker?

Synopsis

The hit TV show "Deal or No Deal" revolves around a nail-biting game in which contestants are given a sealed box containing an undisclosed sum of cash. They then have the option of either making a deal with The Banker and taking the cash in their box home, or opening up to 22 new boxes which each contain a different amount; one of these boxes contains a quarter of a million pounds! The Banker's aim is to make a deal with the contestant which will ensure they walk away with the least amount of money possible. The aim of the contestant is to hold out until they open that dream box containing a quarter of a million pounds. By process of elimination contestants must decide whether to accept the Banker's offer, or be a bit more daring and play on until they hit (or miss) the jackpot!

Customer Reviews

It's OK but far to slow!3
I was really looking foward to playing this game but was so disappointed how slow it is. Granded, it's not a terrible DVD and one can have fun with it but be prepared for it's bad points if you're thinking of purchasing.
I still have my copy but don't play it that often however it's ideal if I feel like wasting away a few hours.

Slow, Badly Designed and Boring1
Deal or No Deal would work really well as a DVD game, it's a shame this is whats offered. The format is a terrible idea, every box is presented by itself on the screen starting at 1, so if you want to pick box 18 to open first, you have to scroll through numerous screens (which takes a long time to load) to select your box. Surely display all the boxes on one screen and the player can choose from there?

I have played this game a handful of times, willing to give it another try, but gameplay takes so long (a game can take up to an hour due to how slow it is) that it is painful. This has to be one of the worst, if not THE worst DVD game on the market. A huge let down.

terrible game play1
To choose box 12 say you have to scroll through 11 boxes zzzz. Very poor. The people who gave this 3,4 or 5 stars clearly have shares in this product. terrible!!
