Definitely worth a listen
I have always bought Rio products as sound quality has always been my first priority rather than style. My dear Rio died so rather than give in and buy an ipod, which I felt had a tinny sound lacking in bass and depth I took the plunge and bought the Creative Vision. The sound is rich, with plenty of bass and do justice to the soundscapes of Pink Floyd through to the vocal clarity and intimacy of Sinead O'Connor. The software loads quickly and is easy to use, including ripping directly to the player. Battery life probably around 12-13 hours, but I do like cranking up the volume. Reason for not giving 5 stars? Well the charging via USB is restrictive and you really need a USB to mains charger which is extra but can be found at a reasonable price.
All good things come in small packages
The player is small and compact and will fit anywhere. Yes the screen is small but with only 4gb you are mainly going to use it for listening to music.
The video player is very good but after showing it off to your mates I found that I never use it.
The radio reception is not the best when on the move, but when i'm sat in the house I get a really clear reception. This I was a little dissapointed with as you can have a radio on at home.
Transferring music is realy easy, simple drag and drop. Thats it.
Other features such as, shuffle, repeat, album of the day, random play all, most popular, rarely heard, storing photos, i could go on.
All in all an excellent mp3 player.
Great little mp3 player, love it
Having already owned a Zen Touch 20GB mp3 player for a couple of years, I decided it was getting a bit clunky and wanted something a bit smaller and lighter. The Zen V+ fits the bill perfectly.
The V+ is a really tiny mp3 player that has excellent sound quality, built-in FM radio, and will also display colour photo's on its "Organic" OLED screen - this is really a side issue for me, but it's nice to be able to put on a few favourite pictures.
The V+ is quick and easy operate, very similar to a Zen Touch, except that you now use a tiny joystick and a 'play' and 'back' button; the volume +/- buttons are on the side. I'd say this is better to use than a Zen Touch and the display is brighter and clearer.
The V+ design has been well thought-out and works extremely well. I cannot really fault it. The only issue is the storage capacity: at 4GB it is big enough for most people, e.g. I've got 50 CD's on mine and it's almost full, but 8GB would have been much nicer, you could then get 100 CD's on it using mp3 stereo format at 192kbps/variable bit rate.
