A Truly Unique Production!
This is Paris Hilton's first album. While the album has much to offer, this Limited Edition adds a bit more by including a DVD region free disc. There are many styles of music to enjoy thus creating a universal sound. They range from the reggae-infused STARS ARE BLIND for the romantics at heart, to the breathier sensual songs like, HEARTBEAT, DO YA THINK I'M SEXY (Rod Steward Cover Song) and TURN YOU ON. Hip-hop lovers may take pleasure in the song FIGHTIN' OVER ME for the rap elements and for the fact Fat Joe is featured. Dance fans will find TURN IT UP to capture their club moods. Other not as dance standout tracks include: I WANT YOU with elements from the movie GREASE, NOTHING IN THIS WORLD for pop lovers who like to feel happy and uplifted, JEALOUSY marking issues many face today displaying forgiveness, SCREWED, and NOT LEAVING WITHOUT YOU both having the catchy pop/rock/dance blends. Overall, all the songs offer something unique to the listener.

From the 24 minutes DVD portion, The Music Special Link (20 min) takes you behind the making of the album with the songs TURN YOU ON, SCREWED, TURN IT UP, FIGHTIN' OVER ME, NOTHING IN THIS WORLD, DO YA THINK I'M SEXY, STARS ARE BLIND, AND JEALOUSY. There are behind the scenes footage and interviews with producers and Paris Hilton. There is also a part especially for skeptics titled, "Studio At The Palms". The programmers enter a room to hear Paris Hilton's recordings with skepticism and walk out amazed and somewhat transformed. For those interested in knowing if the STARS ARE BLIND VIDEO was included, it wasn't. Instead, you have a 3 minute clip. The In The Studio Link has Paris Hilton singing JEALOUSY with headphones for a good 4 minutes.

This Special Edition with DVD is an excellent purchase for the added disc. It does not include the lyrics, Stars Are Blind Video and it fails to follow any specific music genre thus making my rating 4 stars vs. 5. Either way, this can be great to add to your music collection as well as to enjoy the vast array of styles! This is highly recommended for die hard fans or skeptics who would like to go behind the scenes of how she produced her music.

I had to give this Album to a charity shop My poor speakers cannot handel this kind of disaster...

"That's Hot"
She doesn't have a great voice and it's not a brilliant album, but it's beyond. Each track will have you dancing around the house. There are a lot of sounds, from r'n'b to pop, with some rock inbetween. If you can resist dancing to "Screwed" and "I Want You", then CONGRATULATIONS! Totally worth buying!
