Must Listen
Escapextacy was a great debut for this band and is a must listen to album. I agree with the other reviewer that this contribution is heavier but that is "no bad thing". If you melodic metal with a hint of Him buy both their albums
A different direction
Not in the same vein as Escapexstacy, the band choosing to 'up the tempo' and heaviness to sound more like fellow metallers Sentenced. This of course is no bad thing, as I rate the likes of Sentenced, Charon and Icon & The Black Roses in the same 5-star bracket. For me, the album didn't have the same impact as their previous album but I guess it will grow given a few more plays.
In general, the whole sound is more diverse and less melodic than Escapexstacy hence the 3 stars but still well worth the investment if you like this type of goth-rock genre.
